Celebrating Salish 2013 Registration

The Celebrating Salish 2013 Conference will take place from March 5th thru the 8th at Northern Quest Resort Casino in Spokane. The conference includes language immersion sessions, Salish language performances, language learning/teaching workshops, and the now world famous Salish (and Kootenai) karaoke conference. Nsəlxcin Classes in Spokane

Salish School of Spokane (SSOS) will be sponsoring free Nsəlxcin classes for the community on Wednesday nights beginning on October 10th. The classes will take place during the Native Wellness nights sponsored by The NATIVE Project at Havermale High School. Download the flyer for more information and contact details.

Salish School Registration

Salish School of Spokane (SSOS) is currently full, but we are taking application for the 2013-14 school year. SSOS provides Salish immersion pre-school, kindergarten, and 1st and 2nd grade for students aged 3 to 8 years. Excellent academics and strong cultural education are delivered in an immersion Nsəlxcin (Colville-Okanagan) learning environment. The flyer to the right provides contact information if you or someone you know might be interested in enrolling children for the coming school year.
