This website is dedicated to promoting and sharing materials relating to the four Southern Interior Salish languages: Colville-Okanagan, Wenatchee-Columbian, Spokane-Kalispel-Bitterroot, and Coeur d'Alene.
This website and the materials shared on it are a project of Salish School of Spokane (SSOS). SSOS is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is "to create a vibrant community of fluent speakers of Interior Salish languages by providing Salish language instruction to children and by empowering parents and families to speak Salish in their daily lives." As a public charity, donations to Salish School of Spokane are tax deductible in keeping with IRS code and federal law.
