The Salish Word Book is a project of Salish School of Spokane, Whitworth University and the City of Spokane Library. The books presents ten vocabulary themes, and lists the Salish word for each item in the theme in all four of the Southern Interior Salish Languages: Wenatchee-Columbian, Colville-Okanagan, Spokane-Kalispel and Coeur d'Alene.
The Salish Word book is for free to anyone who wishes to use or distribute it for non-commercial purposes.

You can learn to play the game Uno in n̓səl̓xčin̓ (Colville-Okanagan Salish) using the word/phrase list and the audio to the right. Most Uno decks sold in stores these days do not include English language text on the cards, so it is easy and fun to call out your plays, colors and numbers in Salish. You can even tell other players, "Don't cheat!"
